Absolutely not!  While many club members have completed an IRONMAN (or 140.6 distance race), the club membership is comprised of beginners who have never completed a triathlon through to those who competitively race at the 140.6 distance.   We applaud the diversity of the competitors as the club is committed to cultivating and nurturing all of its members with their personal goals.

Members are not required to be a USAT member.  However, as most members are active 'racers', they carry a valid USAT membership.  The Rye Tri Club is registered with USA Triathlon and we recommend all members considering competing to join USA Triathlon.
