Gary Salmo - President

Gary Salmo is enjoying his long course races. The genuine camaraderie among club members has helped make possible what was thought impossible.

Ken Harris - Vice President

Ken started his athletic career as a runner, achieving a 2.43 marathon before turning his focus to triathlon.  He has completed IRONMAN Lake Placid and is currently the club's Bike Captain and coach.

Christy Jockle -  Public Relations

Christy started her athletic career in the pool, but ended up as a Division I athlete playing Field Hockey. After years of running and having completed many marathons, Christy fell in love with triathlon.  While still relatively new to the sport, the Club helped her to complete her first Sprint Tri in 2013 through to her first IRONMAN in 2015.  When not on the bike, in the pool or on the road, she enjoys a professional career in financial services public relations.

Laura Dopkins - Bike Captain

Laura completed her first sprint triathlon on her 30th birthday, only to
discover a fear of open water swimming.  It wasn't until she moved to
New York, and joined the Rye Tri club in 2013 that she got into the
sport and comfortable in the open water.  The club's passion for
encouraging newbies to keep pushing to the next level got Laura through
the distances to becoming an Ironman in 2016.  Laura loves being out on
the bike, racing, riding and even off road and hopes to share that
passion with others as Bike Captain.
